George Tetlow CV George allows his overseas travels to flow into his paintings which make them unique and diverse. His love of India, Turkey, Nepal, Tibet and China are shown significantly in his paintings since 1989. The love of intense colour and abstraction have been evident from time to time throughout his arts career. George studied at SA School of Art from 1963 to 1966 and he was a Book Designer/Illustrator for Rigby Publications from 1966 69. From 1969 80 George was a Lecturer in Illustration, Drawing and Printmaking at SA School of Art and SACAE. From 1980 90 he was Coordinator at the Department of Illustration, School of Design. Since 1988 George has been travelling and exhibiting extensively. He continues to paint from his Gallery studio and he has been a finalist in the Fleurieu Vista Art Prize several times plus a finalist in the Heysen Prize, Hahndorf as well as other acknowledgements. It is a pleasure to present his works in this Gallery.
