Sandy Reu CV Sandy is an expressive acrylic artist who enjoys our vast outback and has a real appreciation of the Aboriginal culture and from his current works he is significantly inspired by them. Painting is the process of creation. To paint is to align ones self with the spiritual forces of creation and allow these forces to be expressed. Sandy’s paintings are the result of his communion with the divine. They originate from a point of stillness and depict areas of land that are places of retreat and reflection. His works connect people to the sacred, forming a bridge between the visible and the invisible, the tangible and the intangible. Sandy’s paintings are a visual record of an inner journey – into the heart and soul of the land – into the heart of the creator – into His own soul. Sandy says that he paints the feeling of the land more than how it appears. His paintings are expressions of feeling states – states of being.
